These Terms and Conditions set out how we work with you and what you can expect from us. Please read them before booking — by purchasing any service, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms.
Our services include:
- UCAT tutoring, add-ons, and personalised revision plans
- A-Level tutoring (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics)
- Mock interview preparation
- Personal statement reviews and career consultations
- Events, workshops, and conference tickets
1. How a Contract is Formed
A binding contract is created between you and NextGen Med Prep when:
- you have made payment in full for a service; and
- we have confirmed your booking by email, message, or platform notification.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking at our discretion before confirmation is issued. If we do this, you will receive a full refund of any payment made.
2. Our Services
All services provided by NextGen Med Prep are educational and preparatory in nature. We want to be upfront about what you can expect:
- We may adjust session content, structure, or delivery method where reasonably necessary.
- Tutors are assigned based on availability and suitability. We may substitute tutors where required and will always aim to provide notice where possible.
- Sessions are delivered online unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Booking & Payment
3.1 All services must be paid for in full in advance unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
3.2 All prices are listed in GBP. Prices may change from time to time, but any confirmed booking will be honoured at the price agreed at the time of booking.
3.3 Your booking is not confirmed until cleared payment has been received.
You will receive a booking confirmation by email once your payment has cleared. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this within 24 hours.
4. Attendance
We want your sessions to be as productive as possible. To help with this:
- Please join on time using the correct access link or details provided.
- Sessions will end at their scheduled time regardless of late arrival.
- If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to treat the session as a no-show and no refund or reschedule will be offered.
- Please come prepared — have any materials or notes ready before the session begins.
5. Technical Requirements
Our sessions are delivered online. You are responsible for ensuring you have:
- A stable internet connection
- An appropriate device (laptop, tablet, or desktop recommended)
- Any required software or platform access set up in advance
We are not liable for disruption caused by technical issues on your side. If you experience difficulties, please let us know as soon as possible and we will try to help where we can.
6. Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a respectful and productive learning environment for all students and tutors. We operate a zero-tolerance policy on inappropriate behaviour.
Abusive, disruptive, or otherwise inappropriate conduct may result in:
- immediate removal from the session; and
- termination of all services without refund.
7. Personal Statement Services
7.1 Recorded feedback is typically 10–30 minutes in length, depending on the nature and length of your submission.
7.2 You are responsible for submitting the correct, final version of your personal statement. Please double-check before submitting.
7.3 Once a review has commenced, we are unable to accommodate changes or resubmissions.
7.4 Our personal statement services provide feedback and guidance only. We do not rewrite statements in full and cannot guarantee any particular outcome or university offer.
8. Rescheduling & Cancellations
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule a session:
- You must give us at least 24 hours' notice.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and limited to one change per booking.
- Requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled session cannot be accommodated.
Cancellations
Please be aware that all services are non-refundable. The table below sets out what happens in different scenarios:
| Situation | Outcome |
|---|---|
| 24+ hours' notice given | No refund, but you may reschedule (once) |
| Less than 24 hours' notice | Full loss of payment; no reschedule |
| No-show (failure to attend) | Full loss of payment; no reschedule |
| Personal statement review started | Cannot be cancelled or refunded once commenced |
If you are uncertain whether you can attend, please contact us as early as possible. We will always try to find a solution where we reasonably can.
9. Refund Policy
All services are non-refundable except where required by law. This includes situations such as:
- change of mind
- timetable clashes
- dissatisfaction with the service
- failure to attend
- technical issues on your end
If we cancel a session due to circumstances within our control, you will be offered either a full refund or a rescheduled session at your preference.
We may consider exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion. If you believe your situation warrants special consideration, please contact us at contact@nextgenmedprep.com.
10. Consumer Rights (Digital Services)
By booking a service that is scheduled to be delivered within 14 days of purchase, you expressly agree that:
- the service may begin immediately upon confirmation; and
- you may lose your statutory right to cancel once the service has been fully delivered.
This is in accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
11. Intellectual Property
All materials, resources, session content, and teaching methods provided by NextGen Med Prep are our intellectual property. By using our services, you are granted a limited, non-transferable licence for your own personal use only.
You must not:
- copy, reproduce, or distribute any materials;
- record any sessions without prior written consent; or
- resell or share any materials or content with third parties.
12. Recording & Data
12.1 Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. By using our services, you consent to such recording.
12.2 We process your personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our Privacy Policy at nextgenmedprep.com for full details.
13. No Guarantees on Outcomes
We are proud of the quality of our teaching, but we want to be honest with you: educational outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control, including your own effort, circumstances, and external assessment criteria.
We do not guarantee:
- any particular UCAT score
- any particular A-Level grade
- success at interview
- a university offer
Our tutors will always work hard to give you the best possible preparation.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for:
- indirect or consequential losses;
- loss of opportunity, income, or academic outcomes.
Our total liability to you in connection with any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to deliver services caused by events outside our reasonable control (including, but not limited to, power outages, platform failures, illness, or natural events).
In such circumstances, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and offer either a rescheduled session or a full refund at our discretion.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on our website and will take effect upon publication.
Your continued use of our services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
17. General
17.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and NextGen Med Prep in respect of the services provided.
17.2 If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply in full.
17.3 You may not transfer your booking to another person without our prior written consent.
17.4 These Terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under UK law.
18. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you have a concern or complaint, we encourage you to contact us first at contact@nextgenmedprep.com. We will always try to resolve issues fairly and promptly.
