  • What is the MMI and why is it important for medical school interviews?
The Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) is a structured interview format used by many medical schools to assess a candidate's communication skills, critical thinking, and ethical reasoning. It involves several short, timed stations with different scenarios, testing how well a candidate thinks on their feet—essential for a career in medicine.
  • How can I best prepare for an MMI interview?
Preparation for the MMI involves practicing common medical school interview questions, understanding medical ethics, and developing effective communication skills. Our tailored MMI workshop at NextGen MedPrep provides realistic mock MMIs and personalized feedback, ensuring you're fully prepared.
  • What kinds of questions can I expect in an MMI interview?
MMI questions often include ethical dilemmas, teamwork scenarios, and personal reflections. They can cover everything from current medical issues to situational judgment. Our workshops offer a variety of practice scenarios, replicating real MMI formats to enhance your interview performance.
  • What should I avoid during an MMI interview?
Avoid over rehearsing or memorising responses. The MMI is designed to assess how you think and respond in the moment. It’s important to remain calm, listen carefully, and provide structured, thoughtful answers. NextGen MedPrep teaches strategies for approaching MMI stations with confidence.
  • How does NextGen MedPrep’s MMI training program help me succeed?
Our MMI preparation program offers immersive mock interview experiences, feedback from real medical students and professionals, and specific strategies for tackling each station. By practising with us, you'll gain the confidence and skills necessary to excel in your MMI.
